However, in the future, you should actually paste the article. If the article is extraordinarily lengthy, such that it would take more than a few posts to paste the whole thing, then you can choose to paste a selection of paragraphs that accurately represents the article.
Doing this in the future can help you avoid nasty rude comments from concerned oldfriends, and will lead to a productive and engaging conversation in the thread.
