CNN’s chief law enforcement analyst and expert John Miller left the anchors of CNN This Morning momentarily speechless after he explained why it the migrant gang that beat down police in New York City last weekend didn’t stay in Florida.

Miller joined CNN This Morning’s Phil Mattingly and Erica Hill on Friday on the topic of the 14 criminal illegal immigrants who ganged up on two NYPD officers, kicking and beating them in Times Square in a battle caught on camera.

Video of the beating has made international news, and the fact that the first four alleged assailants to be arrested, who have extensive criminal records, were released without bail has become a major and controversial subject in the media and among Americans on social media.

Miller, a former NYPD Deputy commissioner and a former FBI spokesman explained some of the extensive criminal background on the alleged perpetrators, describing multiple prior arrests for various crimes such as armed robbery and grand larceny in the few short months they have been in the country illegally.
