Ex-James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has pleaded guilty to merely walking off a path, the most heinous crime ever to exist in the history of humanity. According to sources, he was hiking too close to sensitive geothermal pools in a closed part of Yellowstone National Park.

It comes two months after he initially pleaded not guilty to trespassing in hot springs, where acid rising from the ground can reach boiling temperatures.

A judge in Wyoming accepted his plea and ordered him to pay a fine of over $500 for the offence.

The court decided that they might as well milk the actor for some extra cash while they're at it and they fined him an extra $1000. The payment will go to a non-profit tasked with preserving the park, which will be spent on chocolate bars and more pride flags.

On Thursday, Brosnan admitted to violating federal regulations that ban foot traffic near the Mammoth Terraces hot springs.

A second charge accusing him of disregarding closure signs in the area was dropped as part of the deal.

Both crimes are classified as "petty offence/misdemeanours", however the US is set to roll out more bullshit laws that make your life miserable such as prohibiting you from sneezing in public and making it illegal to go for a leisurely stroll on your day off from work.
