Also- Bay area people are weather pussies so even the slighest inclement weather keeps most people away.
Sonoma coast is over looked
Mendo coast is killer...and then all the way up the Lost Coast
if you are going to Siera avoid Tahoe and go north t places like golden lakes or downyville etc..
