I’ll take my Esee Candiru over the CRKT Minimalist 10/10 times. Pull the Esee through the <$10 pocket sharpener a couple times and it’s sharper than the CRKT from the factory. Sheath on the CRKT got loose faster than either of the Esees as well.
Those tiny fixed blades are good to get you off the folder meme EDC though. For $20, get the CRKT and feel the glory of the horizontal carry on the belt, and then upgrade to the Esee.
