I have some pac boots but they get soaked from infiltration and sweat and the liners rapidly stink like asshole. Also they suck to walk in for a long period.
Lower profile boots might be better but they aren't as high and probably would get wet also. And, I live somewhere that it is regularly - 30 degC. I can't have a boot system that cannot handle this.
Rubber insulated boots i have not tried but heard good things. But wouldnt they also get sweaty with exertion?
