Fall is here, so that means winter is right around the corner. I am thinking about going camping in the UP this winter with some friends in late December/early January. What are your experiences? I don't predict it to be awfully cold, but I have heard there is a lot of snow. It would be at Painted Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Also, winter camping general. What are some of your tips and tricks for you winter campers out there? Any meals you like especially in the winter? Gear tips you would especially recommend?
