One review on REI says it's excellent for regular hiking as well, which is what I'll be doing most of anyway, even if I become a proper mountaineer. I assume it's compatible with their reservoir bags, I find it difficult to confirm so if anyone who knows for sure could tell me that'd be much appreciated.
