I used to go out constantly while NEET, weekly at a minimum, but even a few days a week I would at least take a long walk innawoods.
But I moved to the city a few years ago and am heavily engaged in full time employment, so this limits my energy and access to /out/.
In saying that, gainful work has allowed me to get better gear, a big redneck truck, a new camera and lenses, etc. So when I do go /out/ I can do different things from what I used to do and have a lot more fun with my hobbies.
I'm going up into the mountains alone for Christmas and when I return I'll have a shitton of awesome photos and field recordings, and my muddy-ass Colorado will get me there and will give me a wonderfully comfy and secure bed to sleep in.
I miss the woods as a daily routine but I've taken a step in a positive direction nonetheless.
