>>1953362Its a thing. I work in the ghetto and stopped a black dude walking in the middle of an unlit roadway (forest preserve on both sides) with a 60mph speed limit instead of the sidewalk at 2am.. His reasoning was that a racoon might jump out at him and try to bite him. His logic was that its better to risk getting struck by a car than take your chances with a racoon attacking you.
