My tip is to not try and do this while holding down a job you cant do remotely.
I could see doing it for college but fuck having a 9 to5 and vanlife, thats just going to be depressing.
Also dont be one of these idiots that is always driving . your route should have you driving more than 1000 miles in a month and ideally much less than that. Find an area that interests you and explore it by camping in one place for at least a week at a time.
Go to places where your hobby takes you. I fish so that in part dictates my route. Dont just wander aimlessly.
If you get lonely easily then its probably not for you. There are times of social interaction but also long periods of solitude.
Also women are horrible people and should be avoided at all costs.
