>>2068106You just made a rookie mistake, don't think too much about it. But CR has some good reasons not to use it.
1. They put much effort into geoblocking and it is a pain to use outside of burgerland
2. Their translators aren't the best (pic related, most fansubs I found had no problem translating it), sometimes subtitle languages are mixed up. Don't know if they alter translation to fit their political views, but I would not be surprised.
3. The subscription doesn't give you much bang for you buck. The only thing worth to be mentioned is that you can watch an episode the same day it airs in Japan and don't have to wait a week. But there are streaming services that do the same by ripping the CR video and provide it for free.
>but paying Crunchyroll supports the industry!CR keeps most of the money they make for themselves. If you actually want to support the industry, buy official merch or the manga. You don't need to read it and can resell it immediately, but you did more for the creators than you do by buying a Crunchyroll subscription.
