Like other goy said, it’s not ideal, you will have a weak link in there somewhere, but I haven’t had real issues. The biggest annoyance is that stringy algae crap likes to get caught on the swivel.
Also I would like to shill these fast snaps. 95% of the time, you don’t need the damn swivel, so it’s a waste. And more importantly, the ones in your pic, that flat piece of metal that is folded to hold the wire, they always get loose and will fail eventually and lose a lure and/or fish, the fast snaps are one solid piece of wire which is much more secure.
