>>1511458I kinda regret that I never was a scout, but it simply never came up as an option. My parents were outright hostile to any physical activity I showed interest in so I ended up doing a lot of stuff as an adult. Even so, scouting is just something you can't get into once you're old - you lack connections, and it's not like you can approach them saying "yea I'm a 20something who has never been a scout but I think I might wanna join because it looks like it might be fun". Anyone who is at that age and is still a scout has been there for at least a decade or more at that point.
Happy that you do this for kids. It warms my heart in a way, knowing that they can have these experiences.
