The view at Letchworth is worth the first trip, and after that now I usually just go to Allegany, plenty of good tent spots and trails down there, including North Country which goes into PA and beyond. But there is plenty to see and do in WNY if you look around a bit.
Im in Amherst but my family just moved up to Wheatfield. Put in some effort and this place isnt so bad. I like shooting personally, and there are enough trails to keep busy for the most part. Not to mention I can't leave the pizza and wings.
