>uncomfortableThis is personal. I use a DCF tarp so water doesn't bleed through when you touch it like with silnylon. Meaning I can have the tarp pitched so low that it's touching my sleeping bag. This isn't super pleasant but is wind proof.
>windy, rainy, snowy or blow 0c conditions.Wind is the only real issue desu desu desu rain and snow will only become a hassle in high winds as they'll be blown in. And low temps don't matter as your sleeping bag and mat are your main tools in the battle to stay warm.
Pic is my tarp, I had to move it during the night as the wind picked up too much for the spot I had picked. If this is something you are uncomfortable doing then tarping might not be for you.
