Work out of the toolkit you bring with you. The factory toolkit is often missing pieces, especially if you add stuff (skid plates, luggage) to the bike.
I love my thumper for the low weight, feels like i'm cheating when I jump on that after being on my big adv for a while. But that 1000+cc v-twin is a much more comfortable ride for knocking out miles.
