Pros:

Air flowing freely over and around you, transporting heat away from your body = C-O-L-D.>Nowhere to store your gear.>Nowhere to sit and chill, away from the elements. >Exposed to bears, witches, demons and trolls. >Unless in an area where prime, flat camping ground is exceedingly rare; it's more of a hassle to find the right trees. It's basically a pretender kit for Wallmart ninjas. If condensation, heat and bugs aren't a problem then a tent will be the superior choice. Buying a hammock with a "winter kit" is pure brain damage.
