I want to take a motorcycle class before pulling trigger on getting a bike..I just have absolutely no faith in humanity in Southern California and will not risk my life to the fuckwits here, however I have dirt bike riding experience (250 2 strokes n stuff) and love the idea of loading up panniers and hitting the trails nd putting around real slow. A nice step up from Backpacking. I truly do not need an SUV, especially when gas is $5.80/gal still. I know it's dumb to tow with a car, but if my Civics GVWR can accommodate 5 full grown adults + cargo in trunk, I think their 1000lbs tow rating accounts for that, so a 300lbs dual sport + little harbor freight trailer should truly be a light load and no issue even with mountain roads.
