>>2678403Its oats for breakfast, snacks for lunch, and sosig for dinner.
I bring some granola for the oats, id rather have the oats seperate so I could soak them overnight but its just down to what I have in.
Snacks are dried fruits, cocoa nibs, nuts, and maybe some tablet mixed in if I'm making trail mix (tablet is condenced milk and sugar squares). There are some raw snack bars that contain the above, if I can get some non-pozzed ones (no HFCS or soya) then ill grab those.
I usually do 1-2 day hikes and im in the UK so raw meat will last a day or two depending on the time of year. If its too warm then ill bring some dried beef sosij from a local butcher, replace with Italian Chorizo if you want. I also just bring fresh veg, its fine for a couple days. Potatoes, carrots, onions, broc, stew em all up with your meat. Id be keen to hear what warm weather anons do for fruit and veg, do you bring dried or a cold bag?
Heres the first stew i made camping with my frens, yes we burnt fuck out the sosij, yes it was too watery, yes it was one of the best meals ive ever had
