It’s not because of their shelter type, as the same source shows free standing shelters are by far the most common. It’s not a physical disability; most are in their early 20’s. It’s not “hurr they dumb, I’m smart”; figuring out what works and what doesn’t is extremely common, with people swapping out gear pretty often. They’re literally never off trail.
