Been mighty busy, including pic related with old friend (on tractor). We had to move hay from the field a few roads over, to his sister & brother in law's place, then had an incredible spread of food at his mother's at his old home place, which is way the fuck /out/ too. I haven't eaten there since high school days in the 80s. He is, more than any other human, the most responsible for getting me heavy into /out/. We also spent hours on his porch going through all his hiking/camp gear, and he has some /out/ stories that are pretty solid mind blowers.
>>1614369>>1614385To be clear, I'm not making the attempt to "live off the land" (at least not entirely). I make/sell shitty little folk art paintings roadside and random places. My idea is more spend a few days or week or so near smaller towns selling, stock up on a bit of food, then spend 2-4 week periods in the wilderness, repeat.
>>1614481Please only "bump" with content or questions (this goes for any thread, but I have a feeling I've told you this before in others, and you just bump them more in spite. I can respect that spirit, I suppose, or I wouldn't be on 4chan/nel.)
>>1614526Bless you for such a blessing. Not much beyond what I just summed in this post, but am actively seeking and awaiting "visions" that lead me to whatever next steps I might take. I am not psychologically compatible with standard manners of being, so typical "jobs" are out, plus I am nearly 50 so the ventures I can begin from scratch are far more limited than someone with an entire lifetime ahead of them.
>>1615001Bless (You), but what is wrong with my setup as it is? I have been pleasantly impressed with the REI Camp Tarp and no longer lust after DDs and fancier, more expensive ones! My bicycle is excellent, though I could definitely use a larger frame size, I think, as the posture as is gets a bit uncomfortable. Oh, and I really need a new phone, the battery doesn't last long at all in anymore so I have to keep its use very limited.
