>>1642890Yeah, I really don't want to stay at a house and "keep" someone too much, but I think it would be a good way to save up some money before I head back /out/ while awaiting my knee to heal up. I might even take advantage of the money to make a few small gear/clothing adjustments, but mostly save. There's no Internet (other than phone, checked coverage), it's way the fuck out in the country. There's a good sized lake on the other side of the woods behind it, but not sure who is or isn't allowed to access it.
It's a high school friend's dad, and they are some great folks, and among the most country of anyone I know, which is sayin' some shit. The friend once paid me to house sit while they were gone on vacation, and this was right after I very first was homeless after divorce 5 years ago, before I wound up being asked to stay back with ex and son until he went off to college. Pic related, I camped on their deck beside the pool. I'll have to stay in the house for this one though, which is the main thing I don't like about it. I mean, I can take strolls around and be /out/side, but can't just camp, and have to be around to cook and stuff, I'm sure what I mean is understood by most. I think I'm gonna do it, brethren.
