I go over there on a Sunday afternoon when the place is empty and I very rarely have problems. As long as you don’t set up shop with 10 rods and coolers and all the kids running around, they don’t really care when they see a dude walking around with a fishing rod.
There is so much freshwater, it’s easy to find access. Pic related is a spot I got a handful of big sneks. I just park my car in that lot where the trailers are on a Sunday and it’s cool.
There was one time I had a cop tell me to ask for the business owner’s permission next time. It was like 7pm on a Saturday night at a place that rebuilds jet engines and he said they had problems there before. My car being parked nearby to cowlings from an Airbus probably didn’t help.
