Let's not be fags here - our main consern is biological, not chemical. Most water is not contaminated.
I did a test 4 months ago - took some ice from an old, frozen pond, filteted it through a strainer, boiled it for 5+ minutes and made tea on it.
I was fine, no poisoning, no shits, though the water was greenish. I plan on testing coffe filters.
