What do you prefer and whats best in different situations?

I backpack in the rocky mountains and tend to fill up at miuntain springs. A little dropper bottle with bleach seems to work fine for me, but ive heard theres some debate about it killing cryptosporidium. I also have a sawyer squeeze but haven't used it much.
