>>2446020Yeah, they look great. Heavy as fuck though. Can be buttoned from hip to wrist to make a "proper" coat with baggy sleeves. They also button together like zeltbahns to make scalable tents.
I just bought four, and have no real experience with them. I'm expecting to use them for memeing around in the woods, but I'd definitely add a proper tarp if I was expecting heavy rain.
Picrel is also pretty fun, although the citizen-prisoners with non-optional employment who made these in the East Bloc don't seem to have taken that much pride in their work. They're also too small to properly shelter a large fella like myself, but they're fine for manlets, ground tarps, vestibule, etc.
I like any shelter that also shelters me and my kit while moving (or being stationary without the ability to set up shelter). It's a neat gimmick.
