>>2469967I have a pair of Asics Gel-Sonoma trail runners that have done me well,
On to my 2nd pair now.
They last about 2 years each with me running in them till the tred wears away, and then i switch them out to just daily walking around shoe.
I live in Australia in Canberra, And my regular running trails go up two of the local mountains here mount Ainsle and Mount Majura with fire trails running between and around them, they aren't a challenging climb but running up and down them I'm thankful for the tread. And i really like the waterproofing on the shoes.
They've done me well as a Running shoe but i've also taken them on long hikes over in New Zealand and around Australia, the lighter but still waterproof shoe has been pretty comfy to wear. Wore them in snow one time for a few kilometers when i got caught out, Feet kept warm and dry so thats good.
Soles of shoes attached so you can see wear on the runners.
Boots are Tiber NGX i got on sale years ago, they aren't bad once i replaced the inserts.
But i imagine these are all very Southern Hemisphere things and had i known the snow wasn't all completely melted i would've taken the boots.
