>>>/fit/49605921 there's a recipe for, "snake juice." It is the main thing people who are water fasting use to keep from dying when they've gone without any food for 10-120 days or whatever. It is the only thing you need to drink to recoup your electrolytes and such without need for buying a commercial product.
Keep in mind that this isn't exclusive to /fit/ so google up info on "snake juice' for yourself. Here's the general recipe,
>Water=2L>Potassium chloride =1 tsp (No Salt)>Sodium chloride = 1/2 tsp (Himalayan Pink Salt "PHS")>Sodium Bicarbonate = 1 tsp (Baking Soda)>Magnesium Sulphate = 1/2 tsp (Food Grade Epsom Salts)When I did a water fast, I drank water with PHS mixed in and took a single "Centrum Adults Multivitamin" tablet per day. That specific Centrum version contains the 2 things needed. I water fasted for an entire month like that; no food at all during that time.
>if i carry 3l of sports drink, will i feel less dehydrated than if i carry 3l of water? or maybe a combination of the two?In reality, you can get everything you need from your food and plain water. you just need to look at the nutrition values for the food you are eating,
https://nutritiondata.self.com/ and determine how much you'll be eating and what it will give you. Your body should do quite fine. Remember, when you feel thirsty, you need to drink, never ration out water, that leads to major problems and is something that is a big no-no for any situation including survival situations where you don't have much water.
You can carry normal water and have some of the powders listed above to add to it if you wish. Then you still have the option of having normal water for cooking or whatever. Cooking with sports drinks just sounds terrible (google, "Powerade Thanksgiving" for example.)
