>>13127401. If you have a fleece layer or similar under you there's no way skeetos will be able to bite you through. it can be tricky to keep your arms and shoulders insulated on the sides (they will bite you there through the fabric) but you gotta work something out
2. use drip lines - more than one per side you need - makes a ¥uge difference
3. this is why i got the DD hammock that has fitted tarps and i got an extra tarp. i always use the bottom tarp to act as a windbreak so i don't get any windchill. if it's going to be rainy i'll use the top tarp as well
d. it can weight as much or more than a tent with accessories but no matter what you'll never have to contend with the ground. to me a hammock is always worth it but that's just my opinion
