>>1919396It is but mainly for Sharks and Tarpon some times. However if you're fishing near lake okeechobee or any water that lake okeechobee and can off into it likely pushed them fish away the only stupid fish that don't mind that fresh water is them hardhead catfish.
I've used cut fish tails to catch bull sharks a few guys I talked to said they cut the cat fish barbs off all 3 barbs and run a 5/0 or 9/0 circle hook from the bottom of the mouth out the top
and Tarpon will eat them I have yet to catch a Tarpon but tonight if I go out I'm hoping to catch one.
