they are always full tang and built to take a beating that could kill a man literally, unlike moras.
only good innawoods knife by kabar is the esee or however its spelt, the usmc knives are half tang like moras and are only good for fairly light-medium tasks.
i use an m4 bayonet and baton with it just fine. i would prefer something with a flat back but it still functions. i would just keep a smaller knife for skinning and such(anything that touches food should be its own entity anyways). a leatherman wave has a great blade on it but keep in mind not to use it for other tasks or at least make it sterile. I use my wave for construction work so theres no real way to make it sterile enough for skinning, i had to buy a buck102.
