Tbh for me it's more important than a lot of other considerations such as weight and performance. At least to a degree anyways, I am willing to take a hit in oz's if it means have sexy gear that won't take away from /out/ visual appeal.
The only area that might be a greater consideration is durability. I can't stand replacing shit on a regular basis, if I apply some basic maintenance it better last for years.
