>>1791420it's easier to get out of a hammock than it is a tent or bivvy. I've had coyotes come into my camp once while I was sleeping and I just yelled at them and they booked it. Same thing happens with bears, just let them know you're there and they probably won't want anything to do with you. Just have your spray ready if you're in griz country.
