You mean to use it as a zippo fuel? Well, you lose nothing if you try. Strong alcohol works, but isn't anything near as good as gasoline. Normal booze is rarely strong enough to even ignite.

This guy is right. Basically nothing off the shelf that you would want to drink is flammable. If you use standard zippo fuel it will evaporate over the course of a week or so depending on conditions. If you use light oil like diesel/kero it will be much harder to light but will basically never evaporate so that's the better alternative.

Zippos are for tryhard faggots though and I don't really have a workaround for that.
