I'm new to /out/ but intrigued. When you go on an /out/ adventure, what do you typically do? I have no friends who are into this lifestyle but I live in the southeastern US and would love to go camping in the wilderness, although I have a hard time picturing what you'd do all day on a full day or multi day adventure. When you go hiking, what motivates you to go in a particular direction? Are you following some sort of path you have planned out ahead of time, or do you look for certain things as you're in the wilderness? Basically just looking for some stories/explanations of what an overnight stay in the wilderness entails.
