I live in rural Oregon. I wish I lived in rural Washington, it's like the red pilled version of Oregon w/ cheaper electricty.

Lincoln county has the best coastline in all of Oregon.

Washington is better, it's got both the cascades and the Olympics and both the Pacific coast and Puget sound, not to mention Mt.rainier, Baker, Adam's, etc. Basically Oregon but on steroids. Both are based though but Pregpn doesn't have mountains like pic related.

Chelan was the first hike I ever took
I will never forget waking up on day 3, and looking across the still water, making a perfect reflection of the mountains on the other side. Stood there like a dumbass for an hour or so before a boat came by but I've been chasing that moment ever sense.
This state has a lot of problems, but the Pacific and the forests will always make this place home to me.

Ugh yeah. I'm living in Spring Valley with in Las Vegas, NV. It's really not too bad here, but there are no affordable homes with privacy. Even my friends who have descent sizes, private backyards live in million dollar homes where you can hear your neighbors nextdoor.

The PNW is one of the most overrated regions in the world. I don't know what it is but everything about it is just so overwhelming. I think it's because the perception of the area is more akin to a "dejected California" which is true. Everything in California/Sierras is infinitely better than what the PNW offers but the people that can't afford it end up in the PNW so it's just a big loserfest overall.
