I want to clean up and upgrade my EDC keychain. Right now, I have

I'm mainly looking to replace the DoohicKey with something else, remove just about everything but the two keys and fob, and maybe keep it on the carabiner. Quite possibly also add something else useful for work or /out/. Wat do?

This is literally all you need... a work key, house key, and car key on a simple ring.
Take the rest of the shit off your keyring and put it on a separate ring and put it in your junk drawer since you only need it occasionally

This, or find a multi-tool that meets your needs if you really do use all that shit, but regardless dont put it on your keyring.

I do use the DoohicKey every once in a while, I think though it might be nice to have something a little more capable though. I might just move the wire loop to the inside of my bag (of which I'm looking to replace at some point as well, not sure what brand/style though.)

I disagree. I have a small knife/multitool on my keychains (Gerber Curve on one, Dime on the other) so I don't forget it, and I use it fairly often. I'll carry something more robust if I think I'll need it but not if I'm just going for a walk around town.

Bulky as fuck, don’t care. I use all of these items regularly. Gerber Dime, NiteCore Tip (best flashlight I could find for 25-30 bucks, 325 lumens and rechargeable, with good run time), and a sharpened Niteize pry bar that I filed a hook into to make a really effective package opener. Locking S-biners for an extra dose of the ‘tism. Whatever makes you happy, OP.

It’s not up to the build quality of a leatherman, but it also hasn’t ever failed me and was much easier and cheaper to find. The major weak point might be the scissors, which are beginning to get loose but are still holding on. Would recommend for 15 bucks and light use.

Speaking of keys, how the fuck do I deal with fucking massive stupid car keys?
So my main ring, I have. My company car I drive to and from work and all work matters, which is a giant stupid 4in long fob thing.
I have my Mercedes smart key for my personal car I drive around for all non work related things, which is more compact but not really smaller. And I have my remote for my fun car that I take out sometimes after work and usually over the weekends. It also has a massive chip key blob thing which makes it not stack well.
Then I have three keys for various things at my work's facility, my house key, and three other traditional car keys for two other vehicles I rarely drive but it's nice to have with me and it doesn't take much space.

It's just the main three fob keys that are really killing me but I need all three at all times because in addition to my problems, I live in two different cities depending on the day of the week and work in a third. Having Seperate rings for each only works if I have a set routine and I currently don't.

One idea is a wallet that can accommodate the company car key because I do not need to ever remove it from my pocket to access the vehicle and drive. But I am not sure of such a wallet thst can accommodate it nicely

Having two car keys isn't really a big shocker for most people, but I also have the company shitbox that I can not drive for personal use so ehh idk.

I can simplify it for the weekends and going /out/ but there's no good way to during the week, and I don't really want to leave keys laying around anyway because they are all fucking expensive to replace.

I always keep a surf key on my Keychain. It's got many uses. It's a hex key so if you need one, you got one for small stuff. It's also a nice thin little thing thing for scraping and prodding stuff in tight spaces. You know, like pipes or keyboard keys and such. Also for surfboard fins if you like surfing

Get a garage and leave the keys in the ignition of the car.
