I just wondering if theres bears, wolves, mountain lions, or other animal that large enough to eat me. The only gun I am bringing with me is just a Glock 27, i am gonna keep it in my ruck.

I never understood this. I've camped plenty in bear country and was once lucky enough to see a mountain lion take a young elk. I've never felt the need for a gun to defend myself from the animals who live there.

Then again, I understand they live there and I'm just visiting.
