I don't know jack shit about camping
Live in Georgia so I've spent plenty of time in the woods. I love the wilderness and I'd love to just set off for a couple of days.
What equipment should I bring?

What food?

Water?

I would love to be gone for a couple of days, but I don't know any good places. Up for a road trip, (not car camping, just to get near some good woods) but don't want to leave the south.
Any good locations?
