Advanced gear I have tried:

I have been in high wind -20c environments with this thing and I love it. Extremely versatile. Biggest con is the zipper can be absolute bitch to get connected with cold hands and sometimes even in normal environment.

Fucking expensive and the fit ended up sucking because I am not a short japanese man. Seem really solid if it fits, but I basically just flushed like 200 bucks down the drain on that one.

I am going to buy their alpine cruiser 3000 for next season of winter mountaineering.

people on the west REALLY sleep on them. I live in japan and they are the major high performance outdoor gear brand here. While in the west, I never even heard of them.

Most of there stuff is great, but every once in a while they have a real stinker.

forgot to add, the down hugger 800 is my winter expedition bag. It is hard to give it a fair review, because it was my first real serious sleeping bag, but I will say, this fucker is the easily the most comfortable sleeping bag I have ever seen. Also incredibly warm, never had a cold night, and I have been on some low temp mountains.

At 99 grams, it is easily the lightest day pack I have seen and it wraps up into the size of a fist. It doesn’t feel like one of those weak ul items that will rip any moment either, it can hold some weight.
