>>1893568See, OPs pic rel is exactly why hammocks need to die as a trend. Somewhere in the 2010's hammocks got popular and now its a religion. Its no longer just another way to set up camp, oh no no no, its a way of life! Hammock users now refer to tent users as "ground dwellers", they use their own language like "bad hang", and yes, they have their own nouns; (((hammocking))). No, fuck you. A tent is just a piece of equipment like any other, it is what is is. Like a lighter, or a canteen, or a backpack. But now, hammock worshipers have made it into red team vs. blue team and turned a wholesome activity into a blood sport whilst toting a false veil of modesty. If you dont like hammocks, then these cultists will tell you you bought "cheap equipment", or "never buy from brand X", or "your hammock was too small". And if all those excuses fail to explain why hammocks are uncomfortable, there's the hail mary classic come-back; "well, dont blame your equipment cause you dont know how to use it properly!!"
>basedface.pngEvery forum you go on will violently attack you and be offended if you say you dont like hammocks, this is because hammocking is a religion to these city dwelling reddit-using faggots and you just attacked their precious hobby. Apples to apples, an equivalent hammock setup weighs and costs MORE than its tent counterpart, and its incredibly complicated to set up.
tl;dr: hammock users tongue my anus.
