Where can I get some cheaper wool socks? They're 10-20 bucks a pair. I get that you buy quality, but I can't see any reason a pair of socks should be 20 bucks.

You can easily find a good pair for 15 dollars tops, and trust me i KNOW that seems expensive, but you will know where your money went when you need them, and when they get wet. They are amazing and worth the investment. Don't go cheap with socks, it's the one thing that makes you a shit ton more comfortable when hiking the AT for a week or similar circumstances

$9.99 for a 3-pair pack of "Omni-wool" socks from sams club is reasonable. They hold up for a year or two.
