Those beavers are gnawing at every damn tree around there, it's crazy. One year the water level was so high, we were asked to go break up the dam a bit. When we got there we saw their hut, a couple of big dams and multiple smaller ones at lower level down stream. We started by breaking a smaller one tree levels down working our way up to the lake and it turned out the thing drained the whole day, water level dropping like 2 feet. Beavers were so pissed they came up to the dock during the night and clapped their tails to intimidate us or something. Took them a few hours to build it back up the way it was; they're the ones in charge anyway.
