Tent pegs are annoying.
They poke at an odd angle in your pack because they are long and odd shaped. They are heavier than the fly they hold down. They hurt your palm when you have to drive them into hard ground. If you use your boot instead they will bend. Aluminum ones bend so easily they are not worth the weight savings.
I'm going to cut down these pegs by a third, sharpen them and make a puller/pusher tool, anyone have any cool designs?
