I am building a trail and wanting to mulch it. Have any of you anons ever done this? The two main problems I have right now is that it seems like you can’t rent a chipper and thus have to hire a tree service (expensive), and that the chipper itself would be too bulky to navigate into the forest - am I really going to have to haul all these sticks out to the trailhead and then back in as mulch, or is there a solution I’m not aware of?
