General advice thread.
I really want to get into casual camping, something I can do on a whim if I'm lucky enough to get 2 days off in a row from work.
Problem is, I have no idea where to start, I've read articles & watched videos but 99% of it is just "DoN't WaIt JuSt GeT oUt ThErE & dO iT", that's all well & good if you already know what you're doing & how to stay safe (I know a lot of it is common sense but I don't want to be making silly mistakes on my own & end up hurting myself)
If anyone has any general advice I'd much appreciate it! I'm a fan of the solo camping experience for content viewing but realistically I don't think bugging out alone to learn the ropes will be the best idea, if anyone knows of any communities or forums for Uk camping or content creators I'd love to get involved!
