they're basically deepfried balls of cornbread dough. they're pretty tasty. also, cook out is one of the best "fast" food chains, but it's not the highest quality. $5 for all that and a drink is pretty good tho. or for $6 you get a milkshake, and they have like 40 flavors.

I moved from VA to WA 3 years ago, and Cookout is the only thing I really miss from there. It was so good, and you get so much food for the price. Plus, there's no Cheerwine out here.

Apples and oranges, I like both. Culver’s ButterBurgers and Concrete Mixers are amazingly good, better than any other chain equivalent I’ve had, but as a college student I couldn’t afford to eat at Culver’s often. Cook Out gets you a lot of simple, filling food on a budget, I have lots of good memories of chilling out there with pals.
