Anyone else on here a Non-White /out/er? Do you struggle to find people to /out/ with?

I'm just not built for winter weather. I would love to live in a rainforest or jungle where its like 100 degrees in the summer but still full of lush forests, but the idea of going to a foreign country where I only loosely share the culture is really intimidating. I am considering moving to Yucatan or Chiapas, because they actually have lower crime rates than most of the US and have beautiful rainforest environments. But I am not sure I would be accepted by the local people since I am not one of them. I don't look like them, know their culture, or speak their languages. And there is political conflict in those areas. Some of them straight up don't allow outsiders into their territory.
