I think it was 2018 when there were two PCT thru hikers and an AT hiker posting regular updates (I might have those numbers flipped). It may have been even further back. There were always survivalist/military wanna be/larpers around, but their retardation was somehow amplified and they ran off a lot of the regulars. Kinda sad; I blame the janitors. They have a habit of deleting memes making fun of those fags while letting their bullshit slide (posts about weapons not related to the outdoors, multiple Savota threads, and so on).
It was never a busy board, but poor management ran off quality posters and doesn’t attract new ones. People think the jannies are just slow, but that’s not the case at all. They foster a shitty board culture.
